Our program is built on the TEAM concept. We believe that individual goals will be taken care of by the team's success. Our team is built on mental and physical preparation and aggressiveness. We feel if we do these two things as a team, we will reach our highest potential.
The Game Sense approach is a process focusing on the instruction of young players in learning about sport. Game Sense as it reads is about games or group based activities. The predominant method of instructing players in the techniques and tactics about a sport is through the use of multiple player games. This strategy is seen as more favourable then the breakdown and building up of a player's competence through technical skill practice and repetition associated more commonly with older or senior players.
We pride ourselves for being one of the top girls Basketball teams in the entire province of KwaZulu-Natal, having been placed 2nd in 2013, 2014 and 2015 respectively. We fully intend on being the very best and taking the number one spot in the near future.
We play in the Peace Players International school league. Our goals are to change perceptions (stereotypes and myths), develop leadership skills and qualities in our players and bridge divides that might exist among the players themselves or the societies they come from.
